AA Home Emergency Response
The AA might be best known as one of the major players in offering roadside assistance for vehicle breakdowns, but as of February 2010 the firm also offers the AA Home Emergency Response package which does offer boiler insurance.
The cover is designed to deal with a full range of domestic emergencies including burst pipes, broken boilers and smashed windows.
They also offer a Home Assist service in the South East of the UK only which covers just plumbing and electrical services.
As part of the Home Emergency Package, you can get Boiler and Central Heating Breakdown Cover.
The cover is available for condensing and combination gas boilers of ten years or less and conventional gas and LPG boilers up to 15 years of age. And if the boiler is beyond repair, the AA will offer £250 towards the cost of buying a new one.
Cover is void however if the repairs require a poweflush, asbestos needs to be removed to make a repair, if you haven’t been properly taking care of your boiler and more. Check the full terms by clicking here.
